Last updated: 6 October 2026. This page explains what OFW Connect (ofw-connect.com) collects when you use the site and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, username, email address and password (stored only in encrypted form).
- Optional profile details: country of residence, home province, profession and languages, if you choose to fill them in.
- What you post: forum topics and replies, activity updates, group content and private messages.
- Technical data: your IP address and browser details in the web server’s logs, and cookies that keep you logged in and make pages load faster.
Why we collect it
To run your account, let you take part in the community, send you messages about your account (such as the activation email), keep the site secure and remove abuse. We do not sell your data and we do not run advertising on this site.
Where it is stored and who sees it
The site is hosted by Hostinger. Your posts and public profile details are visible to other members as set in your privacy settings. Your email address and private messages are not public. We share information with authorities only when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your account until you ask us to delete it. Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal data at any time, and you can edit most of it yourself in your profile settings. To make a request, write to support@ofw-europe.com.
Cookies
We use only the cookies the site needs: login cookies for members and cache cookies that speed up pages. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
